You’ll sample not only the region’s best cuisine but talk to the wine maker and qualified wine experts of the winery’s we visit.

First stop at Brown Hill Estate a family owned and operated vineyard established in 1995.  It is a joint partnership with Jim, Gwen, son Nathan Bailey who is this winery’s winemaker and his wife Chiara.

Enjoy an inspection of the barrel room with the wine maker and then return into the winery to taste wine and hear the story of making of the wine. 

Brown Hill produce multi award winning wine. Their stated aim is to produce top-quality wines with uncompromising viticultural practices emphasising low yields.

At Howard Park private specialised flight tasting of their Icon Wines. Owners the Burch family are member of Australia’s First Families of Wine (AFFW) and is the largest family own wine operation in Western Australia.

The Burch’s were one of the earliest to embrace multi-regional fruit sourcing from the cool-climate Great Southern wine region and the world-renowned Margaret River culminating in excellent elegant wines

Lunch highlighting modern Australia style cuisine is at Margaret Rivers founding wine estate Vasse Felix. This year awarded Star Winery by Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine. Vasse Felix was established in 1967 by Dr Tom Cullity. Today Paul Holmes à Court represents the second generation of the Family who have owned and operated Vasse Felix since 1987. 

After lunch take a browse in the Art Gallery which has exhibitions of the renowned Janet Holmes à Court art collection.
